Ginger has long been used as a spice in Asian and Indian cuisine, as well as in many others around the world. It also has countless health benefits and here is included the soothing effect on sore muscles and aching back. Furthermore, it can effectively prevent and relieve cough, cold and flu. Ginger improves blood flow and protects from cancer. Also, it can regulate blood sugar and cholesterol levels, and relieve stomach ailments and arthritis.

Ingredients:

  •     200g of peeled and finely chopped ginger
  •     Lemon slices
  •     450ml filtrated water
  •     A couple drops of lime juice
  •     225g of sugar
  •     115ml of sparkling water

Instructions:

Bring the water to a boil and add the ginger. Reduce the heat and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool for 20 minutes.


In a bowl, combine half a cup of ginger juice, 1/3 cup of the syrup and half a cup of sparkling water. Add organic honey and lime juice. Mix all well and decorate with lemon slices.
