Baking soda has endless beneficial uses, and it is great for treating a number of skin issues.

Baking soda has an abrasive effect on the skin, removing the dead skin cells from the top layer of the skin, without causing irritation. Moreover, it makes your skin look fresh, younger and beautiful. Here you can find a few ways to use baking soda for your skin.


Baking Soda and Water

Take a little bit of baking soda and combine it with warm water to create a paste. Apply the resulting paste to your face or skin using gentle circular movements. Then, rinse it off with warm water.

In this way you will thoroughly cleanse your face and the dead cells will be removed. Also, it will unclog your skin pores.


Baking Soda and Ground Oats


Add some ground oats in water with baking soda in 1:6 ratio. Massage your face with the resulting mixture using your fingertips. Avoid eye contact. Wash it off with warm water.

Baking Soda and Lemon

This is an excellent way to disinfect your skin, reduce age spots and cleanse your skin.

Combine 2 tablespoons of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of brown sugar in a cup. Then, fill ¼ of the cup with lemon juice. Mix well until the ingredients are well combined.

Apply the resulting mixture on slightly wet skin and allow it to act for 10 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water.

Coconut oil has powerful moisturizing properties. The mixture of coconut oil with baking soda will exfoliate and soften your skin, and it can do wonders for irritated and dry skin.
