Like all couples having their difference of opinions regarding their marriage, Ankita and Faiz had their share of troubles too. Except they had just one big problem: Ankita is Hindu, Faiz is Muslim, and their parents disapproved.

So what would a normal couple do? Definitely, not what these guys did. Ankita and Faiz decided to elope and get married in Goa!

Ankita and Faiz both had done their MBAs from IIM-Indore and wanted to convince their parents to let them get married.

So after months of trying to convince them, they gave up, eloped and had the most stunning wedding possible.

First, they tied the knot in a Nikah…

And then they married again according to the Hindu ritual…

Doesn’t the couple look fantabulous?

And you know what was the surprising part? They invited only 60 close friends to the wedding and NO ELDERS.

Ankita recounts, “We tried for around 3 years to convince them, and finally decided that life has to move on. We took the plunge in 14-15th March and organized our very own ‘Jashn-e-Ishqa’.”

They did manage to pull off a stunner of a wedding, though, didn’t they?
