A horrific incident has come to light where a babysitter severely abused a one-year-old kid in Oregan. Jacob’s father, Joshua Marbury, took to Facebook soon after the law failed to provide any respite to the distressed parents.
In the following post, Joshua narrates the heart-wrenching episode of his child’s trauma, which in the eyes of the law is not enough to nab the culprit.

Joshua wrote,
“Two months ago if not longer my 1 year old son was smacked across the right side of his face by our babysitter (keep this person anonymous) to the point where MULTIPLE doctors (who in fact showed us hand prints) and the detective said it could have killed him.”
Joshua’s post has received massive support online and people are now sharing it across platforms with hashtag #JusticeForJacob.

What had happened?

Joshua and his wife Alicia Quinney had come home to a crying Jacob while their male babysitter soundly slept. The following morning, Alicia noticed Jacob’s bruises on his head and face.

The babysitter, though earlier denied his crime, later confessed to the police that he had dropped the kid on the floor and also hit him.

But what went wrong after?

According to a legal loophole, the culprit can’t be prosecuted despite his confession because Joshua’s “one-year-old cannot tell you verbally, he was abused and my son did not show he was in pain OR that this person ‘intentionally’ did this.”
Let’s hope justice soon serve its purpose and the little kid’s abuser gets a long time behind bars.
