At Rs. 30 per liter, hydrogen is the cheapest option that India is not considered.
And, it doesn’t damage the engine, not leaving behind any residue in the engine.
“It is abundantly available. In our experimental setup, after every 1,000 km of running of the engine, water needs to be cleaned and new distilled water has to be taken to a certain level and again it has to be fitted into the vehicle,” says Balaji.
It cost only Rs. 7000 to convert the bike into a hydrogen powered vehicle.
