This diet has the ability to neutralize the effects of overeating and the toxins that enter the body through consumption of unhealthy food.

It is recommended that you keep the diet for 4 days. However, this is considered as a temporary remedy since it is an imbalanced diet.

Pineapple diet can help you lose up to 3 kg in a week.

The fruit has a number of health benefits and is very effective in the fight against water retention, bloating and cellulite. It is abundant in water (about 90%), potassium which removes excess water, and iron which creates red blood cells that transport oxygen throughout the body.

Furthermore, pineapple is rich in bromelain which improves digestion and has anti-inflammatory properties. Also, it boosts the metabolism.

Pineapple is hypo-caloric fruit (100 grams contain 40 calories). Try to consume it fresh and ripe and keep it in the fridge upside down so that the sugar can be distributed evenly. A fresh pineapple has yellowish-orange crust without any spots. The structure is hard and the leaves are green.

Eat it immediately after you`ve cut it to enjoy all effects of vitamin C which is of vital importance for formation of collagen, a compound that improves skin elasticity.

When on pineapple diet, you should avoid:

  •     processed meat products and old cheese
  •     carbohydrates
  •     energetic and alcoholic drinks

Drink at least 2 cups of tea a day, and at least 2 liters of water a day.

This diet is for people who are generally in good health. It is not recommended for people who suffer from diabetes and colitis, those who are intolerant to pineapple enzymes and those who have kidney or liver disorders.

Here’s an example of the pineapple diet for one day:

Breakfast: pineapple juice + 1 fruit + 1 cup of tea

Snack: natural pineapple juice

Lunch: 4 pineapple slices + 1 slice of bread

Snack: pineapple juice + 1 apple

Dinner: 2 pineapple slices + 50 grams of boiled rice + 1 cup of tea against bloating

An example of the pineapple diet for 3 days:

Day 1: consume only fresh pineapple and water.

Day 2: pineapple, water and two cans of tuna (one for lunch and the other for dinner).

Day 3 is identical to day 1.

Note: The main goal of this diet is to eliminate the excess toxins and waste from your body, so it is possible that the lost kilograms and water return when you go back to the previous way of nutrition.

Therefore, it is recommended that you include pineapples in your daily menu because they can keep you full for longer and prevent sugar cravings.
