5 People From The Past That You Wouldn’t Believe Existed

These true medical mysteries that happened to these five people during the late 1800′s and early 1900′s. These are truly shocking to say the least!

1. Ella Harper

Ella Harper, was named “Camel Girl”, she was born with a  rare orthopedic condition that caused her knees to bend backwards, this condition is called congenital genu recurvatum.
She preferred to walk on all fours resulted in the nickname “Camel Girl”

2. Misses Fannie Mills

Misses Fannie Mills, AKA “The Ohio Big Foot Girl,” she had a disease called Milroy Disease which caused for legs and feet to become gigantic.
Fannie was only 39 when she died. Fannie’s feet got to be 17 inches long

3. Maurice Tillet

Maurice Tillet, also known as “The French Angel.”
Tillet was a leading box office draw in the early 1940s and was twice recognized world heavyweight champion
As a teenager, he was diagnosed with acromegaly, which causes bones to overgrow and thicken.

4. Frank Lentini

Frank Lentini, also known as “The Great Lentini.”
Frank is well known for having a third leg. His deformity was the result of a partially absorbed conjoined twin. It is recorded that Lentini had sixteen toes in total and two sets of functioning male sexual organs.

5. Jean Libbera

Jean Libbera, was known as “The Double-Bodied Man
Jean had his brother, Jacques Libbera, connected to him from his chest-stomach area. The parasitic twin was alive and could move as well. An X-ray showed that there was a head embedded within Jean with a circumference of about six inches.
