Which Fat Burning Exercises Can You Do While Watching TV?







Beating boredom can be really challenging sometimes and those particular times, most often, give birth to sedentary lifestyle, which exposes us to a lot of health risks. Therefore, it is best for us to develop a habit or improvise certain habits that can be beneficial to us. For e.g. Sitting idle doing nothing but just watching TV is unhealthy if you are doing it quite often. But this habit can be improvised for the better. Here are a few ways to do it.


Fat burning exercises that you can do while watching TV

Bottoms Up

To do this exercise, you will have to lie face-down on an armless chair or a couch with your legs hanging off the edge and your belly resting on the chair. Balance your upper body using your palms on the ground. Now, lift your legs towards the ceiling, which will engage your core and you will feel the traction on your butt and hamstring. Slowly bring the legs down to the straight position, which completes your first rep. Repeat 10 to 15 times.


Triceps Dip Kicks

Rest your palms (facing forward) on the edge of a chair or a couch and sit on the edge about hips-width apart with your fingers facing forward. Walk your feet out until your butt hangs off the edge. Now, as you bend your elbows straight behind you to lower your butt toward the floor, keep your shoulders away from your ears the entire time. As you go lower, lift your left foot off the ground in a straight line. Slowly come to the initial position. Repeat the same with the other leg as you feel the pressure on your triceps, and the front and back of your shoulders. Repeat for 10 to 13 times.


Bicycles

Sit on the edge of the chair and bend 45 degrees back and hold your legs straight on a line parallel to the floor. Now hold both hands in front of your chest and open your elbows out to the sides. Now bend your left knee toward your body twisting your hips to your left to touch the right elbow to the left knee. Reverse arms and legs, and continue to alternate. This will bring tension on your ABS, oblique, and hamstrings. Repeat 10 times.


Leg Lifts

This one is the easiest exercise that you can do while watching a TV. Simply lie on the floor, on your right side with your hips stacked, and your head on your upper arm or propped up by your right hand. Extend both legs and point the toes. From this position, engage your core and raise your left leg straight up toward the ceiling without bending your knee. Bring the leg back to starting position with control to complete one rep. Repeat the same for the other side. This will help you burn fat from your outer thighs and side butt.
